In the film, “a British fighter pilot pursues the german ace that shot down his friend across sky and country… with murder in mind. But he discovers it’s not so easy to kill a man when you have to look them in the eye.” Apparently, the Irish Film board gave about $92,000 to fund the film, which only paid for the live action filming. The director, Nick Ryan, ended with zero dollars for the visual effects, which are crucial to set up the story. His performances are caught on the borderline between image and presentation and they perturb us through their apparent incompatibility with our spacial experiences. The artist develops positions in space which lead to surreal alienation of everyday situations. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg and became famous in the past few years because of his “Still-Life” Performances, which took place in the public area. His installations includes “Working Class Heroe” and “Tarzan Standing Leg”, which are famous in Germany. Several of these performances feature Lorbeer in an apparently impossible position such as a street cleaner standing horizontally out from a wall high above the street, or standing in mid-air ‘leaning’ against a wall with one hand in Cairo, Egypt in November 2008.”

Hutto, possessing a broad background in the natural sciences and an interest in imprinting young animals, incubated the eggs and waited for them to hatch. As the chicks emerged from their shells, they locked eyes with an unusual but dedicated mother. One man’s remarkable experience of raising a group of wild turkey hatchlings to adulthood.”

Amazing drawings by Yanni Floros who “is an Adelaide...

Amazing drawings by Yanni Floros who “is an Adelaide based artist that trained at the National Art School in Sydney graduating as a sculpture major.
